Every love has a story, a history; a legacy. Ive known of many loves & read abt hundreds more. But there is 1 tht stands apart 4 me. From the moment the baby blue eyes of a shy, self-conscious 14 yr old girl met the innocent brown eyes of the boy next door, the world fell away & kismet stepped in. For 2 decades now tht admiration has created the greatest love Ive been blessed 2 witness. My amazing sister, Misty Skelton, has shown me what true love is abt. Ive watched her change herself in an attempt 2 please her great love, my amazing Brother, Tommy Skelton. Ive watched HIM change in hopes of pleasing HIS great love. Ive watched them battle life, becoming parents, being the best parents they cld be. Ive watched them battle highs & lows & everything in between. Ive watched the 2 of them battle each other until they became ONE. Now I watch as they battle cancer; as ONE. The love they share is like no other & I wld not hve the ability 2 love as I love without the lessons I learned watching THEM. Tommy, u are & always hve been precious 2 me. I love u 4 the love u hve shown my sister, tht u hve shown me. I love u 4 everything u are & everything ur not. U will never be alone. Gods got this & I knw under tht sweet, innocent facade tht theres a WARRIOR who will NOT let ANYTHING tke him from his wife, his daughters & his family. And Misty, Im so proud of u & the warrior u carry within. Ive ALWAYS admired it & many times Ive envied it!! I owe u both so much. And my love 4 u is deeper than any war. May God lay his almighty hands upon you both & lead u thru victory & the rest of ur own legacy. It will be an ever-lasting one.
