Every month we honor our Star Students at a special assembly. Our students receive a special pin and get a chance to tell their peers and parents why they were nominated as the Star Student of the month. At PS46Q we believe that all our students are Stars and it is a great privilege to work with these amazing students. However one special fifth grade student really rose to the occasion and had a special speech prepared, demonstrating why our students at PS46Q genuinely shine! Bravo Andrea! Here’s her extraordinary speech: “Since this is my last year, I would like to take a moment of your time and say thank you! My goal was to become great since I was a kindergartener, and since PS.46Q has become a Blue Ribbon School. I was able to sing in the Spring Concert of 2014 and played Mrs. Goldberg in the Blue Ribbon Skit. I have made a difference and I would like to thank my teachers for all the pressure they put on me! Thank you for all the kindness you gave me when I was down or didn’t feel well because you all took me in as one of your own children!” Andrea ~ Class 5-316 ~ November 6, 2014
