Every single good deed that I do, any righteous choice that I made, is purely and only because of the Spirit of God working in me. But every evil and pride and arrogance and every spec of bad(sin) that I do or will ever do is because I am operating in the flesh(sin nature) and I take full responsibility for that. God alone is good and every good thing is from God. I am a man and was born and seasoned in sin thus by nature I am driven to relish in sin. It is only by the grace of God that I am being transformed to the image of Christ. I have a long way to go in maturity but I have the best architect in the universe who created the universe working in me so I am surely going somewhere. Ephesians 2:10 says For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6) Let all be encouraged by the words of Paul... For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)
