Every time a mass killing in the US happens, all people ever want to fight about are guns, the NRA and gun rights. People pick out what they want to hear and cling onto it, ignoring anything that might not help them or, God forbid, prove them wrong. Everyone keeps talking about the situation in California as a shooting rampage and how evil and culpable the NRA is. This kid killed 6 people - 3 of them were stabbed to death, 3 of them shot. He injured a handful more, running most of them over with his car, aiming for groups of people and bikers, skateboarders. But those things seem to go unmentioned, because the NRA doesnt control knives and cars. Theres no one to nail on a cross when someone kills or maims people with things we use every day. Because it doesnt help the agenda of the anti-gun community, shit like this gets labeled as a shooting rampage, and catches fire with all the other people who cant think for themselves.
