Every year a buddy of mine posts this. And every year it hits me just as hard as it did the year before. The segment in particular is at 12:43 giving a heartfelt comparison of rescuers and those that they helped. Most of us in office jobs cant be bothered to walk back upstairs to flip off a light switch. These guys ran... RAN up 70+ flights of stairs with backpacks to warn people they never met and who would never have a chance to thank them. Nobody would have given a second thought if they had seen the firefighters and other rescuers running out with the other survivors. But they ran into it and up it. Because that is their calling. Remember that when you see law enforcement, fire fighters and paramedics. Smile. Wave. Be nice. When we complain to anyone who will listen about a paper cut at the office, you rarely hear about their worst day.
