Every year on The Sound of Ideas, we do a Thanksgiving Show filled with some hilarious and heartfelt stories from local folks about their Thanksgiving traditions and memories. Theres the turkey that never cooked because the roaster was plugged in to an outlet connected to the light switch. Every time someone turned on the light to check, the roaster was on. When they turned off the light to leave and let it cook, the roaster went off. Needless to say, the bird was raw come dinnertime. And there are tales of togetherness in the midst of a brutal snowstorm. Anyhoo, do you have a favorite Thanksgiving thought or memory? Maybe a poem you wrote as a kid and still have.
