Everybody listen up. Everybody. Grab your sons. Grab your daughters. Hear what I have to say regarding the Assassination of handcuffed convicted felon Charles Smith also known as MizTa D or Thugass by a 10 year police force veteran in West Savannah . . . In the midst of the grief of this tragedy & Rising racial tensions, beyond the known act of police brutality and utter disregard for appropriate protocol - - somewhere between the fact that our own Mayor & other protesters were sprayed with bug repellant during a peaceful gathering and around the corner from compassion, integrity, & respect lie THE CHILDREN ! ! ! THE CHILDREN who dont understand CORRUPTION but know that for a 2nd week in a row, their little league games have been canceled. Therefore . . . When the little sad faces cry & ask , whyyyyyy ? ! Explain several key factors to them: Explain the importance of prayer, but only if you know it ! ! The importance of education , and thats only if you know it. The importance of resiliency & not COMPLACENCY ! ! But only if you know about that too. Take the time to explain that your circumstances are meant to MAKE U & not break you ! ! Then follow up with an explanation that they didnt choose the color of their skin, they cant change it. And BECUZ of the color in their skin they will be pre-judged, ridiculed, possibly dis-respected, looked over, talked about, abused & mis-treated, paid less, expected to work harder & passed over for promotions & positive appraisals. But knowing all this is not a reason to give up or give in but it is the MAIN REASON to press forward, push past & formulate an ability to compete ! ! ! And u cant compete from jail or the grave ! ! ! So choose your friends wisely, excel, pursue a secondary education & a post-secondary education. Become your own boss and then look back & help a kid who was just like you do the same. THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL WE WIN THE BATTLE THAT WE ARE WAGING AGAINST OURSELVES ! ! !
