Everyone knows I use to have a disdain for keeping femme friends I was a bois girl..still am to an extent but then I sat in on my friends Cristina class and she learned me about some bell hooks theory of how that is patriarchy keeping us away from each other and me only honoring my bois was rooted in self hate and how we as a society only value masculinity and me distancing myself was not standing in solidarity. That truly changed me and led me to go deeper and really explore my Queer Femmeness and I give thanks for that. I appreciate femmes that can honor each other, who are more invested in respect than attention. Not everyone is built like me and thats okay but I do know I keep a magical team of femmes around me and I am eternally grateful. Energetically or otherwise its a beautiful thing when a Queen can see another Queen.
