Everyone recall what they were doing this weekend back in 1987?.... Lanesboro Volunteer Firemen were living at the fire house...no power, clearing roads that were blocked by fallen trees, cutting our way through trees on Sunrise St to get to Boschettis house, which was on fire. We had towns people living at the fire house too, feeding them and assisting in any way we could. We answered several emergency medical calls and multiple vehicle accidents. As Fire Chief, it was one of the high points of my tenure....I was SO proud of the way our members stepped up to protect our community..... Bolongia, Reagan, Wooliver, Maynard, Decelles, Rielly, Myers, Sayers,....just to name a few. One of our finest hours! Heres to the Blizzard of 87!!
