Everything is insignificant if it doesnt have an association or a connection to RasoolAllah salalahu alaihi wasallam. The Golden Touch Bricks and mortar, or marble minarets, Nor the elegance of domed silhouettes, Man-made structures hold no value alone, Strings of a harp dont play on their own. The prosperous city with golden towers, Where kings boast of their wealthy powers; Places where millions flock day in day out, These gimmicks mean nothing to the devout. Places of worship and shrines of the saint, Bedazzling monuments; beautifully quaint, The superficial imagery pleasures the eye, Yet distant like the full moon in the sky. Ancient relics invoke greatest emotions, Tears of devotees show deepest devotions, Yet these objects have no magical relevance, By themselves, they have no artful elegance. O Abu Eesa, but what would you know? These objects and places are just for show. Theyre blessed by their eminent association, They represent the lovers longing adoration. If it werent for the one beloved to all, No place or relic would be able to enthral. Everything touched by the Beloveds presence, Becomes a source for a peaceful pleasance. Salalahu alaihi wasallam
