Ex-APC Lawmaker, who defected to PDP score Zero at PDP House of Reps primary, while two others also lost in a grand style The duo of Remmy Hazzan and Adijat Oladapo-Adeleye, both members of the Ogun State House of Assembly who defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to the Peoples Democratic Party yesterday lost their bid to pick the federal house of representatives ticket from their constituencies. While Hazzan contested from Ijebu Central Federal constituency, which comprises of Ijebu Ode, Ijebu North-East and Odogbolu, Adijat Adeleye ran from Ifo/ Ewekoro Federal constituency. Hazzan was defeated by the Chairman of Wesco Lottery and an Omu-Ijebu born Lawyer, Otunba Adewale Osinubi, a.k.a. Wesco. In the keenly contested primaries, Wesco garnered 50 votes to defeat other aspirants for the ticket. Femi Odusanya polled 43 votes while Otunba Semi Kukoyi scored 29 votes. Remmy Hazzan scored zero. Adijat also lost in Ifo/ Ewekoro federal constituency. Meanwhile the ruling APC has fixed Sunday for the Federal House of Representatives primaries while the senatorial candidates will be picked on Monday.
