Exam Prep Update: Just a short update this week The Bar Exam is 9 days away, which is far too soon for my comfort! I could use an extra month to study! My primary goal this week is to thank everyone who has sent me a card or a letter or a gift of support. So far I received 15 cards from a variety of people, 10 cards from the same person, 1 postcard from Europe, 4 letters from one family, confetti from two people, flowers, a fruit basket with balloons, and inspirational magnets which are hanging on the lamp I use to light my desk. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! They’re all hanging on the wall in front of me or sitting next to my desk where I can see them. Please keep them coming! They are more helpful that you can imagine. I re-read them when I’m struggling, and they help me get back on the right path. Nothing I do or say can adequately express the depth of my gratitude to all of you. When I think they’ve all arrived, I’m going to post pictures of all of them. I hadn’t thought ahead to what I’m going to do with all of them once the Bar Exam is over. If I end up having to take the exam again, I’ll hang them all back up. Other than that, I got an excellent suggestion today for what to do with them when they’re no longer needed. I’m going to collect them all and make a book out of them to always remind me of how you all went out of your way to support me and to remind myself how grateful I am to each and every one of you and what a great family and group of friends I’ve been blessed with (For every card, letter, or gift I’ve received, I’ve sent the sender a message. So, if you sent something and you haven’t heard from me, whatever you sent is still working its way to me.) Hmmm…. That ended up not being very short. Well, I am a lawyer after all…
