Excellence or Perfection? Philippians 3:12 (NLT) I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. Nobody is perfect. And, no one can ever be perfect. We already know this. However, as we try to strive or press on for perfection, we are actually moving towards excellence. Perfection is impossible, but excellence is executable. There is reality in reaching excellence in whatever task or endeavor we undertake. Excellence is more than faith and might. It takes a great deal of attitude to achieve excellence. Many experts say that the number one enemy of excellence is when we settle for the “average”. According to Will Foster, “High quality never happens by chance; it is always the result of high intention.” Do not worry when you strive for perfection, because you are actually in the course of reaching excellence. Do it all for the glory of GOD! #Pastorjethavier
