Excellent talk on Mental Health from Wycombe MIND at Maidenhead Labour Party - we talked about early intervention, child and adolescent services, talking therapies, bringing together physical & mental health with social care to form a whole person care framework, and the importance of de- stigmatising mental illness, through to the role of mindfulness and meditation for healthier and more content lives. We have to reiterate the understanding of our mental health as akin to, and as important as, our physical health. All of this is essential to prioritising mental health - and improving the system to ensure we stop this vital area from being overlooked.
