Excerpt from DAY 26 - GROW in my newly released book TASTING THE GOODNESS OF GOD: The last teaching I ever heard in college was from a professor who talked about the meaning of life. I had spent six years studying in undergraduate and graduate school, and it all boiled down to this one question: What is the purpose of life? Years of hard earned knowledge from reading textbooks, listening to lectures, and taking exams, and this was the last thing our professor wanted us to remember before we graduated and entered the “real world”. He picked up a piece of chalk and wrote four big letters on the board: G-R-O-W For the next hour he talked about life’s meaning is for us to grow. No matter where you are in life, God designed you to always grow. “When you stop learning, you stop growing,” the professor concluded. In other words, never stop learning. If you want to grow in any area of life, you must continue to fill yourself with knowledge in that area...
