Exciting news at the cat colonies. One of the eight colonies is outside a cement plant. Last Monday I worker came out on a back hoe from the plant headed my way. I was worried he wanted the feeding area moved or worse He asked me if these are my cats. I told him I assist with feeding and care. He shocked me by explaining that he loves the grey cat that eats at that feeding station. He feeds her inside of his car also he told me. She always appeared feral to me, he asked if its ok if he takes her home on Friday. Im like. Yes Please I offered him a trap, a carrier, vet money, a months worth of food. He told me he worked it out with his wife and their vet. He didnt want anything except to rescue her. He took the kitty on Friday , vetted on Saturday. Today on this cold rainy day he told me when he left for work she was sleeping in her cat bed, next to his bed with the stuffed animal they bought her..... When you are touched and gain the love and affection, of a feral, semi feral, or simply a homeless cat its a magical, spiritual connection. He has discovered this amazing moment....
