Excuse me here for Im currently on a rather strong antibiotic but a couple of things be needing some clarity: The deal that Noonan is trying to secure & the Irish media is promoting as something significant involves us repaying the IMF loans a little ahead of schedg? Okay, the loans the IMF fluttered our way so that we could pay back all the bondholders - Irish, European, further abroad- who had gambled on making a profit on the Irish property market by investing in the Irish banks? So these be the loans lent & meant to repay debts that were incurred not by us but by private individuals, funds and institutions? The loans, the terms and conditions of which meant that we have to to privatise anything of value, slash and burn our way through the welfare, health, education, transport budgets and introduce as many indirect, regressive taxes as possible, those loans? Repaying these loans early is seen as a positive move? Grand, glad thats cleared things up for me somewhat. Now, whats this? Paisley is being beatified by the Irish bourgeoisie?
