Illegal immigrants or Indians? Below the 2nd Mahananda Bridge #Siliguri A week ago we saw 2 to 3 people were making a tent at this place and started staying here, even cooking food and taking bath in the river. We thought it may be some kind of Durga Puja rituals that the locals may be performing. But today we were shocked to see the population from 3 has become 30 and the area they were living has expanded 3 folds. Dont know who are they and what they do, on closer look some of them looked like Bangladeshis. Hope the administration rounds them up as prevention is better than cure.
