This matchup is like having a Rugby team playing against a soccer team...no point!!! The matchup hasnt determine anything. Mr Stuart is basically using wrestling/external martial arts techniques adapted in the modern era for competition. Mr Fung is trying to stay pure to the internal martial arts but finds himself in a situation which is inappropriate for those sort of applications. He is forced to respond unnaturally to what he has been taught in his Tai Chi training. Tai Chi is not a martial art it is a method of cultivating our natural fighting methods. To do whatever is required to survive i.e. no rules with true intention. If there is no true intention for survival Tai Chi doesnt work and it just becomes a clash of egos.
