Executive Assistant at Al Akhawayn School of Ifrane Primary duties and responsibilities · To serve as primary contact of the school and communicate on behalf of director to disseminate information. · To support school director to initiate, plan, and coordinate various projects, programs, services, and activities. · To provide guidance and explanation regarding policies and procedures. · To assist school director in designing and developing procedures and policies for the smooth running of the school. · To follow up teacher hiring process: receive applications, schedule phone interviews, answer new hires enquiries, arrange for accommodation and transportation and offer them the maximum of information to help them settle in Ifrane. · To liaise with VPAA office and HRO regarding contract preparation for new hires and contract renewals for continuing teachers, prepare memos and collect necessary documents for teachers’ personnel files. · To follow up on teachers leave or absences for development activities. · To take care of teachers’ exit formalities. · To participate in the preparation of a strategic plan for the school, the management of the budgets, the preparation of periodic and annual reports. · To update web information and draft content · To maintain the Director’s calendar and schedule appointments. · To draft, type and format a variety of correspondence (including letters, faxes, memoranda, etc.) reports and other documents in Arabic, English and French, in draft and final form. · To respond to correspondence, edit, and proofread documents · To translate various documents and reports when necessary. · To coordinate the organization of school activities. · To prepare and follow up purchasing requests. · To ensure that paperwork and procedures are followed with regards to injured students. · To perform other duties as assigned.
