Expensive Puppeh is expensive, again. Hagrid the Newfie did some bench surfing last night and snaffled a quarter of a roast chicken while we werent looking. Unfortunately, cooked chicken bones pose a threat from splintering and possible gut perforation, so it was off to the Algester Vet Surgery and a $112 medicine-induced series of doggy vomits to bring it all up before it could do any damage. Expensive Puppeh looked a bit hung over and worse for wear last night, but hes back to his usual bright self and was looking longingly at bacon and eggs on the dining table this morning. Methinks he may not have learned his lesson, but at least the family is now more aware of putting stuff out of reach of the Newfie.
