Experienced Dog Owner(s)– Available for Adoption; Located in Halifax, MA. Rocky is a 65 lb., 2 yr. neutered male Sharpei/Boxer Mix. Up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm & lyme negative. He is great with kids and other dogs. He has been living with a 7&8 yr. old and two other dogs. No cats or small animals, please. He is housebroken. He is very obedient and is doing extremely well with obedience training. He is always eager to please and his tail never stops wagging. His favorite things to do are play fetch and chew his bone. An issue of past barrier aggression has occurred with men ONLY, ie. screen door/dog crate but no other behavior issues have been experienced. It should be noted that this was upon an initial introduction. Rocky needs a person/family with strong leadership skills that is committed to give him the stability he has lacked in his short life in order to continue his remarkable progress. Continued obedience training will be required with his new family, along with reference checks and home visits to ensure the best fit for all. As a trainer of 17+ years, I am confident that with the right family, Rocky will continue to flourish and be a treasured family member.
