Experts are suggesting that we should be eating seven or more portions of fruit and veg a day... Nina shares below how juicing is a great way to get your five (or even 7) a day: “Some people do find it really tricky to eat a lot of fruit or vegetables and that is why juicing is so fantastic, as you juice far more than you would ever manage to eat... You don’t get the fibre but as long as you do actually eat a good share each day the rest can come from juice. I also prefer juices to smoothies, mainly as I am not keen on dairy and juices carry a lot less calories! I don’t like mixing my fruits and vegetables so my absolute favourite vegetable juice is carrot with celery, beetroot and a dash of parsley, even the smell makes you feel it is doing you good. My favourite fruit is either just naked Watermelon all by itself, or a mix of grapefruit, orange and passion fruit with a dash of fresh mint.
