Eye popping! Jose Vergara, A 19-year-old artist based in South Texas, (from UT at Brownsville) has created a series of beautiful and hyper-realistic drawings of eyes, using only coloured pencils and gel pens, but a process to take him 20 hours of non-stop work per eye. It takes patience and practice to make a realistic drawing, he points out, And its very important to spend a lot of time getting the proportions right before adding color.
