Eye update (for those who care to know): It is getting better day by day. The doctor said that the blurry vision and weird dizziness (he described it as a time warp) will go away soon. The dilation meds are strong, so they take at least a week to get out of the system, and that can cause much of the blurry vision. I still run a risk in this next week and a half to have my iris detach from the white part - common healing issue due to the extent of my injury, and the amount of blood that collected in the eye, so this is important to monitor. I have reduced the meds from 4 to 2 different types of eye drops, so that is good. No major physical activity, but I can finally sleep horizontally, and my eye looks normal, with exception of my pupil still being completely dilated in the one eye. Thank you friends, for caring. I sincerely appreciate all of your concerns, sympathy, and support. It is an essential part of healing.
