Ezra was a Levite of the nation of Israel (Ezra 7:1-6) A descendant of Aaron(High priest) His office was during the reign of the Persian empire in the land of the Medes(Ezra 7:1) 2 Esdras 2:1 -3 brings it out as well And the Most High put the Spirit on him and his scribes to rewrite the Law of Moses and the books of the Prophets and the Psalms of David .. That the so called Africans (Babylonians) and so called White man (Edomites) destroyed when the the kingdom of JUDAH fell and went into captivity in 586 BC - PSALM 137 go into that History These heathen out of deadly hatred for the Most High and Israel destroyed the Scriptures but The Most High put the Holy Spirit on Ezra to speak the Scriptures and his scribes wrote down the scriptures so we can have them now in the latter days! all praises to the Most High and his Son for this mercy so that we can repent and return back to the Most High through Christ as the 12 tribes of Israel, the Most Highs chosen people(AMOS 3:1-2).
