FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW: Do I steal ram(s) to perform my scarify? NO Do I eat before going to the Eid-el prayer? NO Do I kill my sacrificial ram(s) before going to Eid-el prayer? NO Do I eat my piece of meats with my family alone? NO Do I use the blood for any other thing? NO Do I kill my sacrificial ram(s) with blunt knife? NO Do I face towards any direction to kill my ram(s) NO Is it incantation(s) or niya’at (intentions) I should make before slaughtering my ram(s)? YES, niya’at (intentions). Do I have to reserve piece of meats for gods I serve beside Allah? NO Do I have to take my ram(s) to my shrine (idol centre) for endorsement before I kill them? NO Do I need helper(s) other than my family members to assist me? YES if the need calls for. Do I still kill my ram a day after Eid-el prayer? YES Do I share my piece of meats with non-muslisms: neighbours, friends, colleagues, associates, classmates, roommates, course mates? YES etc Brothers and sisters, the beginning of any step in everything we do in life begins with fear of Allah (s.w.t.), once this is established firmly, then almighty Allah will strongly behind you.
