FAITH IN GOD NEVER DISAPPOINTS ( By Dr Paul Enenche) If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. � Dan 3:17 Thought for today Faith in God never loses the battle. Faith in God never loses the battle. Faith in God never disappoints. It is this faith in God that made Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego say Our God whom we serve shall deliver us from your hand o Nebuchadnezzar. Job also possessed this rugged faith in God and declared, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him (Job 13:15). If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come (Job 14:14). This same faith delivered David from the lion and the bear: �the Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine... (1 Sam 17:37). Faith in God also made Esther to break protocol and say with audacity: �and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish (Esth. 4:16). This faith will also make you fulfil your days on earth. Where your father stopped, that is where you will start. Your problem is not the powerfulness of the devil but your lack of faith. 1 John 5:4, says, For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. What do you believe? That you will see your childrens children? You will live and fulfil your days on earth! Your back is too big for the hospital bed. There are constant negative news and reports you read or hear about whenever you pick up a newspaper to read or you tune in to some television stations; these reports try to fertilise doubt, nourish your fear and suffocate your faith. But you must make up your mind to feed your faith faster than any negative news or report. Remember this: faith in God never loses the battle. Assignment 1. Increase your faith by increasing your daily intake of Gods Word 2.
