FAITH THAT BRINGS RESULTS. Part – 1 Acts 14:8-10 - And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked. The man was a cripple from his mother’s womb, bereft of all hope. But when he heard Paul speaking, there flashed in him a spark of faith. The life-giving spirit planted it in him without his knowing it. Paul was quick to recognize that he had faith to be healed and said,” Stand up straight on your feet!” Immediately the crippled man leaped and walked. Why was the man not able to walk before Paul spoke? The man had faith. That is evident from the way he listened to Paul speak, his face and manner showed he believed Jesus could touch his life; he had faith to be healed. He made the important transition from hearing about the work of Jesus to believing that it was for him. Do we make this transition when we hear someone preach to us about Jesus? We should. There was something about this man’s faith that was evident, so much so that Paul knew God intended to heal the man at that moment. The Spirit of God revealed to Paul that the crippled man was developed to the point to where he was ready for the harvest. The moment Paul told him to stand up straight, the man readily obeyed without any hesitation considering he had never walked since his birth. The Word of God is a seed and in that seed is stored faith. To conceive and give birth to the miracles you need, you must first plant God’s Word like a seed in your heart. Conception cannot take place without first planting the seed.Hallelujah.
