FARMERS MARKET UPDATE: The veggies sold out really early. It was a great beginning. Vendors did better in one hour than they did at more established markets. Next week we have Karens Produce, Sams Smoothies, venison, Taj Mahal Indian and Tara Kitchen Moroccan as additional vendors. Were hoping for honey and more farmers too. Please spread the word that new vendors (especially fresh produce vendors) are invited and that there is great community support. There had to have been 400 people there by noon! Its a great spot with high visibility and willing shoppers. The market is open every Saturday from now until October from 10am-2pm at 100 Church Street.
