FDB SUPPORTS 2013 CREST AGRICULTURE SHOW The Fiji Development Bank (FDB) presented a $5,000.00 cheque as sponsorship towards the 2013 Crest Agriculture Show. In handing over the cheque at the FDB Boardroom in Suva this morning, Chief Executive Officer, Deve Toganivalu said that agriculture is their main focus as they have been working together for the last 50 years. “We support the Ministry of Agriculture with their programs as our institution has always focused on the industry in terms of development for our stakeholders and we are always grateful for the opportunity to assist in whatever we can,” said Mr. Toganivalu. Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture, Ropate Ligairi thanked FDB for their kind donation and their willingness to assist the Ministry for this year’s show. “Our relationship is vital and we are grateful for FDB’s continuous support. Most agricultural developments around the country are made possible through FDB,” said Mr Ligairi. According to Mr. Ligairi, the money donated will directly assist in the prizes during the Farmer Awards Night at the Crest Agriculture Show which will be held from the 3rd - 7th September in Lautoka.
