FILMMAKERS THE COEN BROTHERS TO BE CELEBRATED AT RM PUBLIC LIBRARY WITH 3 OF THEIR PICTURES Rancho MIraage, CA - - Jason Bruecks Presents A Coen Brothers Trifecta: Barton Fink, O Brother Where Art Thou ? and Inside Llewyn Davis Join film historian and connoisseur Jason Bruecks as he reviews three of the best films from the Coen Brothers. The schedule is as follows: Monday, November 3, 2 - 4 p.m.: Barton Fink (1991) Starring John Turturo, John Goodman, and Judy Davis, and set in Hollywood during the 1940s, Barton Fink is a comic satire about creative egos, flashy moguls, a traveling salesman and a nasty case of writers block. Thursday, November 6, 2 - 4p.m.: O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) In this Southern take on Homers Odyssey, three chain gang members (George Clooney, John Turturo, and Tim Blake Nelson) bust out of prison to find some missing money. But their different personalities, and many obstacles along the way, make for a comic misadventure! Friday, November 7, 2 - 4 p.m.: Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, and John Goodman star in this film about an aspiring singer-songwriter who navigates the 1960s folk-music scene in New York Citys Greenwich Village.
