***FINAL CALL*** Slightly increased snow projections- read the disco to find out why. Slight adjustments to account for latest computer guidance and latest observations. Winter Storm Warning goes into effect from 7pm this evening lasting until 1 pm Saturday. Last evening the suit of 0z computer guidance began to allude to a stronger coastal low development with rapid intensification taking place, and as a result as discussed yesterday in the 2nd call update more precipitation with better forcing would be thrown further to the North and West side of the storm system (our location). As a result to the computer guidance honing in on this idea, snow totals began to rise ever so slightly as the guidance is now indicating to me that the Northern Stream energy will not be as much of an issue as discussed yesterday afternoon. While I still think a heavy mix will be of a concern especially South and East of Lebanon County, I do believe this event remains mostly if not all snow and as a result of the close call, the best forcing would set up over or very near Lebanon county to be able to produce very heavy snow fall for an extended period of time. Per the latest computer guidance and current observations we are now going with a general 4-8 inches. Most computer guidance is within this ballpark, with some higher numbers, but most cut the happy middle with a general 5-6 inches being the end result. To account for the possibility of slightly higher totals we allowed for up to 8 inches, but I think that number may be overdone but certainly not out of the question either based off todays trends.. Lower end totals could also end up working, especially if the mixing makes it way into the county. TIMING: Snow will arrive in Lebanon and surrounding counties between 7-11 pm this evening, falling heavy overnight. We will have to continue to watch just exactly what happens along the coast as some end times vary depending on what guidance we look at. Best idea for an end time would be between 11am-3pm. This will be a heavy wet snow, so the leaf blowers will not be of use for this one. Wait it out and use the snow blowers, or keep after it the good old fashion way like I do every hour to keep ahead. As for the talk of another storm system for the Sunday night into Monday time period... its a possibility that we are watching, but lets knock out one storm before we worry about the next. As always, more updates if needed. For now, enjoy the rest of your Friday and enjoy the snow. ~Justin
