FLASH BACK... (e nor go lef pa me) My first political experience in high school; Banjul The Gambia. I was running to be the head boy/girl (the guy on the extreme right is Sheku who gave me a run for my money) by then I was a senior prefect and the only Sierra Leonean to have run for the head boy/girl position at Nusrat High. Even though I lost the race by a huge margin I came out to be hero at Nusrat High school because of my leadership character and with the help of my school/ class mates especially my best friend Ansuman Ceesay who help me navigate the system. I made a lot of friends in The Gambia and they helped shape my world view and up to this day we still keep in touch, mostly on social media and occasionally on phone. Land of the smiling cost pan me mind.(Gambia)
