FOLKS, THIS IS THE TIME TO FIGHT AGAINST E.P.A The Economic Justice Network of Ghana (EJN), a body which has been at the forefront against the EPA has condemned ECOWAS reckless and dangerous move. But mere condemnation is not enough.We are not in the 10th,15th,18th Centuries...we are in the 21st Century and we wont sit down for the Machiavellian Europeans to play their dirty tricks on Africans again..na lie. I say to these organisations listed below.. Let it not be said that you are paper tigers, Let it not be said that you are toothless bulldogs, Let it not be be said, you are Chickens, Let it not be be said you are doormats to be trodden on by Mahama and other ECOWAS members. You issued verbal warnings because you saw the dangers in trading once again our dignity, sovereignty and humanity for European chains,junks and toxic wastes. Let action follow your words. Where persuasion fails, action is applied. For years, you have been warning the Government not to commit the country to the EPA. If Mahama and gang have defied your wise counsel and chosen the path of confrontation, mere words of condemnations are not enough. Let the Mahama and gang know that power rests with the people..and not a handful of sell-outs. Arise, West Africa and reclaim your Sovereignty, dignity and humanity and SMASH the EPA!!! ACTION NOW!!! ........... *Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) *The Christian Council of Ghana, * The Pentecostal churches/Council, *Catholic Secretariat. *The Ghana Trades Union Congress (TUC), *The Ghana Chamber of Commerce, *Third World Network, * The Socialist Forum, and * Economic Justice Network. * The Convention Peoples Party ( CPP ) and all individuals and organisations who cherish an African future not subjected to European machiavellianism and manipulation to rise and SMASH the EPA!!! European Political/ Economic thought so far as Africa is concerned is influenced by Machiavellianism, which according to the Oxford English Dictionary , is the employment of cunning and duplicity in statecraft. Simply put...Machiavellianism is a philosophy where political/economic expediency is placed above morality and the use of craft and deceit to maintain authority, control, power in carrying out diabolic policies.
