FOMBONI WANTS FRIENDLY WITH WANDERERS.. Big Bullets opponents in the preliminary round of this years CAF club champions league,Fomboni FC of the Comoros Islands,have indicated that they would have loved to play atleast one friendly game against a Malawian club preferably Bullets rivals, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers before they line up against Bullets. In an email response on their preparations,Fomboni club president Housseni Madi said their preparations are going on well but they would have loved to play a Malawian club,preferably Wanderers, as that would give them an idea of Malawi football.He admitted being ignorant of Malawi football despite having a Malawian player,Striker Wister Phiri formerly of Wanderers FC in their squad.He revealed that their plan is to win the home game and just force a draw when they visit here.Madi said Bullets are a better side and looks favourites having played in CAF before but said his club are equally a good side and should not be underrated. Fomboni host Bullets in Comoros on 13th February before the return fixture two weeks later here in Malawi on 27th February.
