FOOD FOR FHE CHARIOTS SATURDAY 13TH DECEMBER, 2014 THEME: HOW OLD ARE YOU IN CHRIST? SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 5:12-13 “You have been Christians a long time now, and you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things a beginner must learn about the Scriptures. You are like babies who drink only milk and cannot eat solid food. 13And a person who is living on milk isn’t very far along in the Christian life and doesn’t know much about doing what is right.” (NLT) Beloved, how old are u in the Lord? How long have you been born again? Do you think the number years you became born again, reflects in your christian life now? Many of us christians have been truely born again for over 10, 15, 20 years ago and we bost of it but our lives does not reflect that. We are still babies fighting to understand elementary things. There are many people suffering for spiritual malnutrition in our days as chdistians. They suffer kwashorkor be cause of their regret of the word and all the required spiritual activities that would enable us to be matured. Christianity is not only about having Jesus but after having Jesus, we are required to make efforts to grow into maturity. We are expected to become like christ our saviour. There are soo many doctrines and the inventions of foreign activities into the christian faith and our inability to grow into maturity would always give these unscrupulous people an adventage over us to manipulate us for their selfish gains. Start maiking concious efforts now and become like christ. Stop drinking milk and start eating solid food. May God give us grace. PRAYER Father help me grow into maturity according to your will.
