#FOOTBALL 411: Good news for Nigeria football as its U-17 female side, the Flamingos have qualified for the World Cup to be staged in Costa Rica next March. Flamingos automatically qualified without playing its qualifier against South Sudan following the withdrawal of its opponent. The qualifier was earlier billed for this weekend, fortunately for Flamingos, they thus become the first Africa female team to qualify for the showpiece. The 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup finals will be staged in San Jose, Alajuela, Liberia and Tibas.
