The producer will be the Grammy award winning Adam Abeshouse. The impetus for the recording is Camerata Pacifica’s latest commission — a String Trio from John Harbison. The other Harbison works on the disc, featured on the Camerata’s season opening program, are the Four Songs of Solitude and Songs America Loves to Sing. Camerata Pacifica’s first commercial recording will be available in September 2014 to coincide with the opening of the ensemble’s 25th season, and the world premiere performances of Harbison’s String Trio.
