I am interested in moving up to a fancier machine with larger hoop sizes. I have had this one for five-six years and no troubles at all. Ive used it moderately, and it is in good shape. The hoop sixes are: Large (4-1/2 by 6-3/4 inches) and small (3-1/8 by 4-3/4 inches) hoops. Software is actually very easy to use, and is available for Windows XP-8. Happy to help you set it up. I have the complete software pack, Plus works great as a sewing machine! When this first came out, this was the first machine that used your computer to process the embroidery designs and a lot of people with no computer experience bought them and had trouble because they didnt know how to use a computer, thus the machine got an undeserved bad rap. Also the price undercut Pfaff and other companies by thousands of dollars! Small dealers didnt want to carry them because of the low margins, and the need to offer computer tech support to their staff and customers. I should add that all electronic machines have their quirks. Many report thread breakage with this one. You must use quality embroidery thread (not no-name brands), thread it correctly and keep it lint free. I have had an occasional bad spool of thread that I have returned, and replaced with another spool and it was then fine. Note: Black thread is especially prone to problems, and metallics (even in regular machines). This is the same for embroidery machines costing thousands more.
