JOHN THE BAPTIST) Dear Lord Jesus, in our day, even as in the days of John the Baptist and the apostle Bartholomew, Christians are being persecuted because of their faith. In some areas of the world, churches are burned and Christians are killed. We pray, Lord, for You to comfort and strengthen those who face persecution because of their faith. Send Your angels to protect them. May we and our Government also be inspired to bring them aid. In Your name we pray. Amen.
