In the app, the user can choose between the animated male penguin or the animated female chicken. Then, your child can choose from 4 weather conditions, and pick appropriate clothing or accessories for the weather, an important early learning skill. Plus, the penguin or chicken, will repeat all spoken language, which is fantastic for children working on articulation, breathe support and other speech issues. I have seen many apps with this feature, but this one has better sensitivity when detecting speech, so that is is less likely to lead to frustration when working with children who have issues with breathe support.
