FRIDAY FEATURE TEACHER: Mr. Mike McCarty! How long have you been teaching? Teaching at Kuemper? I have been teaching for 31 years and they have all been at Kuemper. What do you teach? I have been blessed to be the Religion teacher for the middle school. What motivates you to come to school everyday, year after year? The work of God. The Catholic identity we try and convey. The deep-rooted traditions of the Mass. Going and receiving the sacraments with the kids. And the most important reason I teach...the KIDS! Do you have a special memory from all your years of teaching? Working with many great kids and teachers. Especially Sandy Knudsen, Sister Susan Till and countless other fellow teachers as well as the many, many kids I have taught. Favorite quote? Love a teacher. Its educational!
