FROM Dennis Prager Michael Ramirez: The Obama administration must have concluded that a nuclear Iran is not a threat to Israel. The Obama administration must have concluded that a nuclear Iran is not a threat to world peace. The Obama administration must have concluded that a nuclear Iran coupled with Iran’s development of a three stage rocket isnt a threat to its neighbors or the United States. Why else would they sign such a ridiculous agreement which gives Iran cover and time to continue to develop a nuclear weapon? Iran is the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world. A nuclear Iran is a threat to the world. However, the nuclear arms race and proliferation of nuclear material that will ensue after Iran goes nuclear in a region awash with money, ideological extremism and religious zealotry, occupied by murderers and monsters who have no moral conscience and very little value of human life, who fund an endless collection of subsidiaries of terror, all of this constitutes a threat that is real and more likely after signing this agreement. The next time there is a terrorist attack it will not be 3000 people who die. It will be tens of thousands or even millions. The economic damage will be in the trillions of dollars. The area will be uninhabitable for fifty years. This nuclear agreement allows Iran to maintain the process of nuclear enrichment. The conversion of the nuclear material to high grade weaponized enrichment from that point is very easy and very quick. Iran has always lied about their nuclear development program. It was discovered by internal operatives. The Iranian president was elected by bragging about deceiving the IAEA about their enrichment program and laughed about playing the U.S. against its European allies to delay action while they incorporated more efficient centrifuges. They are telling us what their plans are. Only a fool would trust them. The Ayatollah has praised this nuclear agreement as a victory over the United States. Iran’s generals and Defense Minister have characterized this agreement as “surrender” by the west. They are right. It is. It is the height of irresponsibility for the global community and the Obama administration to ignore the true nature of this threat. The sanctions they are lifting were hurting this despotic regime and causing internal turmoil. It created a green revolution that the Obama administration virtually ignored. This Nuclear accord is a vacuous agreement that acquiesces to a nuclear Iran. More sanctions, not less, are needed. More effective sanctions may deter us from having to use our military to resolve the threat. Immediate cessation of enrichment should be demanded with real consequences if these demands are not met. All military options should remain on the table. The cost will be much, much higher once Iran becomes a nuclear power.
