He was hopeful that by Monday, that issue should be settled. On the issue of Inverters the management said there is an advertisement already and the estimated amount it will cost is #24million. The management hopes to get the money from the REVITALIZATION FUND. The Wi-Fi bandwith has increased and there will be an improvement soon, says the Management On the issue of electricity the Vice-Chancellor showed a lot of concern on how students consume electricity carelessly, especially in ABH where they make use of heavy electricity consuming gadgets like Refrigerator, Microwave and so on. The VC lamented on the amount spent on electricity consumption in the halls of residence alone per month. Therefore, if there is going to be improvement on the issue of electricity then it should be a collective effort between the students and the management. The VC however instructed that the toilet seats of halls should be changed and the supply of water to halls should be made paramount in other to maintain the toilets. The above is a summary of the process and outcome of the meeting between the Students Union executives and the University management on Friday, 7th November, 2014.
