FROM THE NEWSROOM: State police arrested a Massachusetts man in Thompson Thursday, accused of risk of injury to a minor. 40-year-old North Oxford resident Michael Richard, of Leicester Street, was extradited to Connecticut from Massachusetts on a warrant stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred in 2012, according to police. He faces one count of risk of injury to a child. The victim in the case is believed to be under the age of 10, according to police records, though few details have been released. Richard has been held in police custody in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond. He was scheduled for arraignment in Danielson Superior Court today.
