FROM THE NEWSROOM: The $10 million Sewer Project in Killingly thats been years in the making is scheduled to be completed by the end of September. As reported previously by WINY, the 100 year old piping system in Danielson was long overdue for repair. Gerry CinqMars, Chairman of the Water Pollution Control Authority, said the pipes needed to be addressed before more issues presented themselves “right in the center of town.” According to CinqMars, all that remains to complete the project is repairs on the pipes in Hutchins and Center Street. These repairs should begin within the next two weeks. Tune in for the full report.
