FROM THE VERONA STREET SHELTER aka RAS... This is not a request for financial support. We are contacting you because you have been involved with Animal Services or the Verona Street Animal Society (VSAS) as an adopter, donor, volunteer, event participant, or in some other manner and we need your help. The shelter is beyond capacity with dogs and cats right now. We are working with local rescue groups but they are also at capacity and cannot take in more animals. We have reduced cat adoption fees to just $5 for the remainder of July and have cut dog adoption fees in half.
