FRUSTRATED !! People/organizations take up petty things and try to make a mountain of a mole hill. I do have my reservations for PK as a film with respect to its aesthetics and technicalities. But apart from these I loved the character of PK. Who the hell are these people to question the intention behind the making of a film like PK? I am a HINDU and I firmly say that it doesnt make a mockery of my religion. The film with witty satires poked at the futile efforts of mankind in its understanding of God and Religion and getting blinded by the teachings of God-men which most of the time are laced with vested interests. This is across Religion and around the world where people are lured into beliefs that are not TRUE in its entirety because of the FEAR residing inside them. In fact the film had satires on other things as well like - the importance of Mahatma Gandhi is felt- only when its on a RBI stamped color paper. A year back we had Oh My God! It had the same subject and dealt with the same issues. No one questioned with such vigor then. Was it because the Center had a different Govt in Power or the protagonist in the film was of the same faith? Where are these so called guardians of Religions when women and young girls are getting raped across the country, when the corruption has taken the shine out of the development process? why dont they shout and sit in protests on things like this. Or if these are very big issues for them then take up issues in local areas for food,water,electricity,road,sanitation. It is simple - you dont like a film dont watch it and if you want to protest do it in the right way. Vandalizing someone elses property for no fault is not taught in any religion just like you are not supposed to touch a womans body however vulnerable situation she is in. Grow up guys and take up real issues!
