FULL CIRCLE FOR ME!!! Have you heard about the new movie THE HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY starring Helen Mirren produced by Oprah Winfrey/Steven Spielberg... and directed by Lasse Halstrom??? I am SO loving this and cant wait to see it!! So get ready for a bunch of name dropping here!! .....well not really coz its totes true! :) The Swedish Lasse Halstrom directed the movie My Life As A Dog which was the FIRST movie i ever worked on in my job as PR and publicity for an art house cinema in Sydney Australia. While there for a few years i was fortunate enough to work on big movies with some HUGE names (not so big then but they have achieved so much since) including dynamic directors like Patricia Rozema (When Night is Falling/Ive Heard The Mermaids Singing), Spike Lee, Wim Wenders, Jim Jarmusch and Mike Leigh and actors including Colin Firth, Kenneth Branagh, Natasha Richardson, Daniel Day Lewis and the UNBELIEVABLE Helen Mirren! YES HELEN MIRREN ;P *tongue hangs out repeatedly* Got to spend the day with her and take her out on a press junket! Its quite an endearing story #FunnyActually and she asked me to blow out two interviews so we could eat lunch and talk. #GottaGoSeeTheHundredFootJourney #Sigh
